León Farma receives the FDA approval.
León Farma recently received FDA approval, ands so it can now sell its products in the USA. This means important growth for the Chemo group for two reasons: first, because we can enter the largest pharmaceutical company in the world with our finished products. Secondly because we will satisfy the demanding FDA standards, thus allowing us to make a qualitative leap in our pharmaceutical operations.
This important milestone has resulted in much news coverage for us, as you can see in the attached notes published yesterday in the main business newspapers. In the next few days you will find similar notes in other media of which I will inform you. In these reports there is much and good news about Chemo and its staff, which fills me with pride and happiness.
May I again use this opportunity to congratulate León Farma and the staff of Liconsa who worked together during the whole FDA approval process. There are only a few plants in Spain with FDA certification and to have obtained this is has great merit and says a lot about the professional quality of the Chemo Group.
