Leon Farma represents the introduction of Chemo into a new therapeutic segment, hormones, commonly used in contraception and therapies of hormonal substitution.

With this project Chemo is aiming to become an important player in the hormone field, thanks to the efficient team work which has taken place among the different companies involved in the project.

From Leon Farma we supply the European Union, the U.S.A and other markets. Therefore, the plant installations, FDA recently approved, must comply with standards of the highest quality. Women's Health is one of Chemo's core-businesses.

The company has South America expertise, and through its affiliates is one of the key players in the generic OC & HRT markets in Latin America. It is now expanding in EU through JV's and acquisitions.
